Talent Overview
Normal Attack
Normal Attack
Summons Moonlit Tides, performing up to 3 attacks that deal Hydro DMG.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro DMG after a short casting time.
If you have at least 1 Verdant Dew, Columbina’s Charged Attacks will be replaced with the special Charged Attack Moondew Cleanse, which will not consume Stamina: Consume 1 Verdant Dew to deal 3 instances of AoE Dendro DMG to opponents in front. This DMG is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG.
Plunging Attack
Plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Hydro DMG upon impact with the ground.

For a support/sub DPS Columbina, normal attacks are generally not relevant.
Elemental Skill
Awaken Moonbound Tides, dealing AoE Hydro DMG and summoning Gravity Ripple.
Gravity Ripple will follow the active character on the field, while continuously dealing AoE Hydro DMG to surrounding opponents. While Gravity Ripple is on the field, and nearby party members trigger Lunar reactions or inflict Lunar Reaction DMG, Columbina will accrue a special Gravity. Once Gravity is accumulated to its limit, different types of damage will be dealt to enemies based on the type of Lunar Reaction that has accumulated the most Gravity for Columbina.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Gravity Ripple inflicts AoE Hydro DMG over a wider area.
Multipliers
| Lvl 1 | Lvl 6 | Lvl 9 | Lvl 10 | |
| Gravity Interference Lunar-Charged DMG% (HP) | 4.7% | 6.59% | 8% | 8.47% |
| Gravity Interference Lunar-Bloom DMG% (HP) | 1.41% x 5 | 1.97% x 5 | 2.39% x 5 | 2.53% x 5 |
| Gravity Interference Lunar-Crystallized DMG% (HP) | 8.82% | 12.53% | 15% | 15.88% |

This is Columbina’s main source of sub DPS. Columbina will summon a “ring” around herself that will periodically apply Hydro to enemies. When Lunar reactions are triggered, Columbina will gain “gravity.” When enough gravity is accumulated, she will trigger a gravity interference that will deal damage depending on the type of Lunar reaction that contributed to the most gravity.
Elemental Burst
Hills and tides unite under the silver light of a pristine new moon. Temporarily transforms the surrounding terrain into Lunar Domain, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.
Multipliers
| Lvl 1 | Lvl 6 | Lvl 9 | Lvl 10 | |
| Lunar DMG% Bonus | 13% | 28% | 37% | 40% |

Columbina’s burst provides a solid Lunar reaction DMG% Bonus to the team. As such, it is generally recommended to burst every rotation.
Ascension 1 Passive
When triggering Gravity Interference, Columbina gains the Lunacy effect, increasing her CRIT Rate by 5% for 10s. This effect can be stacked up to 3 times.
This is essentially just a free 15% CRIT Rate for Columbina.
Ascension 4 Passive
When characters within the Lunar Domain trigger Lunar reactions, they will gain the following effects respectively:
- Lunar-Charged: When the Thundercloud performs lightning strike(s) against a valid target, it has a 33% chance to perform an additional lightning strike.
- Lunar-Bloom: When triggering Lunar-Bloom reactions, the party gains a special Moonridge Dew. Up to 3 Moonridge Dews can be gained every 18s.
- Lunar-Crystallize: When Moondrift Harmony is triggered, every Moondrift has a 33% chance to inflict an extra attack.
This passive allows for the reaction damage from Lunar-Charged and Lunar-Crystallized to be increased by 33%. For Lunar-Bloom damage, it gives more Verdant Dew that allows for better QOL and a huge increase in damage.
Moonsign Passive
When a party member triggers an Electro-Charged, Bloom, or Hydro-Crystallize reaction, it will be converted into a Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, or Lunar-Crystallize reaction respectively. Lunar Reaction DMG inflicted by party members gain a Base DMG increase based on Columbina’s Max HP. For every 1,000 points of Max HP, the Base DMG of Lunar reactions is increased by 0.2%, up to a maximum of 7%.
Additionally, when Columbina is in the party, the party’s Moonsign will increase by 1 level.
This passive enables all Lunar reactions for the party, which can be pretty helpful. It also gives a 7% Lunar DMG Bonus for all Lunar reactions if Columbina has 35000 HP.

Constellations
Descriptions are condensed. Good constellations are given a ⭐.
| C1 | Gives an extra hit of gravity interference once per rotation. When paired with another Moonsign character, give some minor buffs based on the reactions triggered | The increase from one extra gravity interference is very minor. The buffs are also not significant. |
| C2⭐ | Rate of gravity accumulation greatly increases. When paired with another Moonsign character, give some major buffs based on the reactions triggered | This constellation gives Columbina around 50% more sub DPS. The buffs given are also pretty major |
| C3 | Increase E by 3 levels | Not exactly a super good constellation |
| C4⭐ | Restores some energy and increases damage dealt by her E based on reaction type | By dropping her ER requirements and increasing her talent multipliers, her personal damage vastly improves. |
| C5 | Increase Q by 3 levels | Not exactly a super good constellation. |
| C6 | Gives an additional 80% CRIT DMG to Lunar reactions dealt within her Q. | 80% CRIT DMG is a lot. However, it is quite underwhelming for a C6, especially for Lunar teams that are generally oversaturated on CRIT |
Combos
| EQ | The most commonly used combo. |
| QE | Use this combo when her E is on cooldown or when you want to battery the few particles she generates with her E |
| E | Use this combo when she doesn’t have enough energy |
Weapons
![]() Nocturne’s Curtain Call | Nocturne’s Curtain Call is Columbina’s signature weapon. It gives her tons of CRIT DMG%, some HP%, as well as energy regeneration. |
![]() Reliquary of Truth | Reliquary of Truth (and other 88 CV 5* catalysts, such as Tome of the Eternal Flow or Surf’s Up) are good stat sticks for Columbina, especially since most of them provide stats she wants through their passives. |
![]() Sacrificial Jade | Sacrificial Jade is Columbina’s best 4* weapon. It provides a lot of CV as well as a good amount of HP% and EM through its passive. However, it is BP-exclusive, and it’s CRIT Rate stat can be hard to work around. |
![]() Prototype Amber | Prototype Amber is Columbina’s best F2P-friendly 4* weapon for her sub DPS. It provides a nice amount of HP% as well as sustain capabilities and energy generation |
![]() Favonius Codex | Favonius is Columbina’s best F2P-friendly 4* weapon for her support. It provides a huge amount of ER to the point where her ER needs from subs are very little, and it generates energy for the whole team. |
Energy Recharge Requirement
| Nocturne/Amber | Favonius | Other | |
| Solo Hydro | ~180 | ~210 | ~250 |
| Double Hydro | ~120 | ~145 | ~180 |
Bursting every other rotation will generally not require energy recharge.
Artifacts
Artifact Sets
![]() Silken Moon’s Serenade | Silken Moon’s Serenade is Columbina’s best general-use artifact set. It gives her some ER and provides EM to the whole team. |
![]() Aubade of Morningstar and Moon | Aubade of Morningstar and Moon can be used on Columbina if her personal damage contribution is high enough to justify either giving up the EM buff from SMS or another character using Aubade. |
![]() Tenacity of the Millelith | Columbina benefits from the 20% HP from Tenacity of the Millelith’s set bonus; the 4-piece set bonus also boosts all party member’s ATK% by 20, though this is generally more situational and worse than the 120 EM from SMS. |
![]() Deepwood Memories | In Lunar-Bloom teams, Columbina can hold Deepwood, though there is almost always a better teammate2 for this artifact set. |
2pc/2pc sets are pretty terrible as the buffs from 4pc sets are significant. Furthermore, it is really easy to get a high roll-value 4pc set.

Teambuilding
Notable Teammates
Moonsign
Due to much of her kit wanting Ascendant Gleam, Columbina is best played with at least one other Moonsign character.
Lauma | Lauma essentially carries the whole Lunar Bloom archetype. Without her, any Lunar Blooms will do significantly less damage. This is why Columbina’s Lunar Bloom gravity interference hits were split into lots of small multipliers, since Lauma could better buff them. |
![]() Ineffa | Ineffa is a great Lunar-Charged sub DPS. With her 40% Lunar DMG Bonus from her burst, she can greatly increase Ineffa’s damage |
Linnea | Columbina and Linnea form a strong core for Geo teams; Linnea has solid sub DPS boosted by Columbina’s support, and Columbina has solid sub DPS boosted by Linnea’s support. |
Zibai | Zibai is a strong Lunar-Crystallized DPS who benefits a lot from Columbina’s Lunar reaction support and sub DPS |
Flins | Flins is a strong Lunar-Charged DPS who benefits a lot from Columbina’s Lunar reaction support and sub DPS |
Nefer | Flins is a strong Lunar-Bloom DPS who benefits a lot from Columbina’s Lunar reaction support and sub DPS |
Aino | Aino, especially at C6, provides valuable buffs for Lunar DPS characters, making her a good support duo core with Columbina. She also generates lots of Hydro particles that reduce Columbina’s ER requirements. |
Non-Moonsign
Columbina can be paired with non-Moonsign units as well, as they can buff Lunar Damage according to Ascendant Gleam’s team bonus. However, non-Moonsign characters will not be able to take full advantage of Columbina’s kit. Furthermore, playing three non-Moonsign characters with Columbina is generally ill-advised.
Navia | Navia is a Geo DPS who can greatly benefit from the Columbina/Linnea core, as she can take advantage of their combined support capabilities as well as the new Lunar-Crystallized reaction, which allows for not needing to manually collect crystallized shards. |
Clorinde | Clorinde is an Electro DPS who can synergize well with the Columbina/Ineffa core, as buffs to Ineffa will generally also buff her and vice versa. |
Hu Tao | Hu Tao is a mainly Vaporize-based Pyro DPS who can benefit from the consistent Hydro application from Columbina, especially when paired with Ineffa to create an Overvape team. However, she generally wants a second Hydro teammate (like Yelan) since Columbina’s Hydro application isn’t terribly fast. Other reaction-based Pyro DPS characters, like Yoimiya and Arlecchino, also synergize decently well in this archetype. |
Fischl | Fischl is a decent Electro sub DPS who is especially good when paired with Ineffa. With her Hexerei resonance, she can also provided a valuable EM buff to the whole team. |
Xilonen | Xilonen provides valuable RES% Shred in Lunar-Charged or Lunar-Crystallized based teams. She also brings valuable DMG% Bonus if the main DPS of the team is not a Lunar DPS. |
Example Teams
Nefer/Lauma/Columbina/Flex Columbina EQ > Lauma hEQ > Flex > Nefer combo Columbina’s best Lunar Bloom-based team. Lauma gives huge buffs to Columbina’s sub DPS from gravity interference, and Columbina’s burst gives a 40% Lunar Bloom DMG buff that will be huge for the team. |
![]() Flins/Columbina/Sucrose/Ineffa Columbina EQ > Ineffa EQ > Sucrose EQ > Flins combo Columbina’s best Lunar Charged-based team. Columbina gives great buffs to the damage dealt by herself, Flins, and Ineffa while also providing consistent Hydro application. |
Zibai/Columbina/Linnea/Illuga Columbina EQ > Linnea EQ > Illuga EQ > Zibai combo Columbina’s best Luna Crystallized-based team. Columbina provides a decent buff to Linnea and Zibai’s Lunar Crystallized damage as well as providing a great amount of sub DPS. |
Navia/Columbina/Linnea/Chiori Columbina EQ > Linnea EQ > Chiori EE > Navia combo A good Lunar Crystallized-based team with a Geo DPS not named Zibai. Columbina and Linnea provide solid sub DPS and Geo RES% Shred for Navia and Chiori. Furthermore, Columbina enabling Lunar Crystallized allows for playing without a Geo construct or manually collecting crystallized shards. |
![]() Hu Tao/Yelan/Columbina/Ineffa Columbina EQ > Yelan EQ > Ineffa EQ > Hu Tao combo A strong Overvape team to facilitate Pyro DPS characters triggering consistent Vaporizes. Ineffa provides strong sub DPS, and Columbina supports it well while providing decent Hydro application. A second Hydro character is generally recommended as Columbina’s Hydro application isn’t very fast. |
![]() Columbina/Ineffa A strong sub DPS core that deals enough damage by itself to carry most teams through most content. It is also Columbina’s most F2P-friendly team, as full 4* teams with her generally have pretty terrible performance. |
Columbina/Fischl/Sucrose/Aino Columbina’s best team with only 4* characters. Fischl and Sucrose enable Lunar-Charged while also providing RES% Shred and Hexerei resonance. Though Aino is mostly redundant, she does enable Ascendant Gleam. Sucrose can also serve as a decent driver, though this team is sustainless. |
