Resident Evil Requiem Raccoon City Center Part 3 (Leon)

This chapter opens with a cutscene where the Tyrant T-501 looms over Leon from a helicopter above the rooftop, hurling a bazooka down before dropping in himself. The rooftop erupts in flames and the boss fight begins. The Tyrant has grown a massive claw on one hand, but Leon has dealt with worse.

Boss Fight: Tyrant T-501

Open the fight by shooting directly into the Tyrant’s chest. He’ll immediately charge at you with hisclaw raised. You can parry the strike to send him stumbling to the side. His massive size works against him here, as he needs a moment to move himself after being thrown off balance. Use that window to keep shooting his chest while backing away steadily. Never stop moving backward unless you want his claw to catch you.

His next moveset is a straight lunge with his claw stretched directly toward you. Parry this too. The Tyrant will slide past and freeze briefly right in front of Leon, giving you another clear window to unload into his chest. Keep backpedaling as you shoot.

The Tyrant also has other movesets. He’ll throw cars at you, so stay alert and dodge whenever you see him wind up. He can also chain together a three-slash combo with his claw, so watch his movements carefully and be ready to parry each hit. If you get behind him at any point, you can land a melee Hatchet strike directly into his chest.

He’ll get aggressive after taking enough damage, jumping onto a car and slamming down at you. Keep circling the area to stay out of range of his lunge attacks. After you stun him twice, his health will drop and a button prompt will appear, mash the attack button to trigger a finishing strike directly into the Tyrant’s chest. The boss will go down immediately after.

The Orphanage

After defeating the Tyrant, look around until you see the Orphanage building. After you loot some ammo around the fighting area, you can head inside and make your way down through the broken rubble into the underground tunnels.

Follow the path until you reach a doorway, go through it, and continue until you find a door with a valve. Turn it to open the door, and keep going until you spot a broken gate. Head out through it and cross the gap by walking along the tilted bridge.

On the other side, a ruined entrance leads down into Blackthorn Subway Station. Head into the darkened hall and descend the stairs until you reach the subway level, which now functions as a makeshift bridge across the gap. Before crossing, grab the Green Herb on the right side and the Rifle Ammo on the left.

The Subway

Keep moving through the subway car. As you walk, the ground begins shifting under the weight of something massive approaching from ahead. It turns out to be an enormous plant creature with thick vines and a gaping, blooming mouth — shoot it the moment it opens up. The plant’s impact brings the entire subway section crashing down, dropping Leon into a lower level of the station.

Slide down to the new area and loot the Gunpowder and Scr3ap inside the broken subway car nearby. Walk slowly toward the edge of the ruined platform where you’ll find a case containing Ammo and Shotgun Shells. On the side of the platform, there’s a rappel — grab it and descend carefully to the bottom.

The Underground Tunnels

You’ll land in a foggy, vine-covered area thick with the water running through the tunnels. This is clearly the source of the plant creatures above. Follow the direction of water to navigate through.

Inside the tunnels, more plant creatures are waiting. Same rules apply, so shoot them when their mouths open and be ready to parry when they strike back. As you push deeper, keep an eye out for a hanging case overhead. Shoot it down to collect Handgun Ammo, and break any crates you find along the way for Shotgun shells, ammo, and more.

Continue following the path through the flooded tunnels. Plants will attack from the left, right, and occasionally from beneath your feet, so tread carefully. You will then reach an area where cars hang from the ceiling above and sit half-submerged in the water around you.

When you reach a larger, brighter tunnel section, you’ll spot a thick vine running along the ground from the right side. Shoot it repeatedly until it rears upright, then it’ll retreat under the rubble. Don’t relax yet, because the moment you try to walk past, it’ll come back up and attempt to slam you into the ground. Keep shooting until it’s finally down.

Boss Fight: The Giant Plant

After dealing with the vine, drop down to the next section where the boss is waiting — the Giant Plant. This creature makes everything you’ve encountered previously in the tunnels way smaller. This boss has massive vine arms flanking its head on both sides that it uses to slam the ground around you.

The weak point is same, which is its head. Shoot it every time the mouth opens. Keep running backward or moving side to side to avoid the vine arm slams, and never stand still for long.

When its health is depleted, the plant will spray a thick burst of green slime and knock open a container sitting below it. Shoot the container immediately to trigger the explosive canisters packed inside. The explosion will destroy and burn the entire plant.

When the plant collapses, it opens up a passage into Umbrella’s underground research facility — the ARK. What’s waiting inside will be revealed in the next chapter.
