The previous cutscene showed Grace opening a path out of the ARK’s dump. With the mission nearly complete, Leon contacts Sherry and requests an immediate evacuation chopper once they’re finished.
The Lower ARK
Take the ladder directly in front of you to climb up into an office room. Check the dustbin straight ahead for some Scrap. On the right side, open the case to find Requiem Ammo. Before heading through the door, break the crate on the right for Machine Gun Ammo and the crate on the left for Handgun Ammo.

Head out through the door and follow the hallway forward. Two infected will block your path, so take them both down and keep moving until you reach a gate. As soon as you enter the area beyond it, Leon will start coughing as the infection is reaching its limit, just as Sherry warned. This temporarily limits your ability to attack and slows your movement for several seconds. A zombie will approach almost immediately afterward, so shoot it down before it closes the gap. Once the coughing passes, check the table on the right to collect a Hand Grenade.

This area has two paths: a door straight ahead leading to a small room, and stairs on the left. Take the door in front of you first. Inside, you’ll find a Med Injector on the table, a crate with Handgun Ammo on the right, and a Supply Crate on the left where you can restock and upgrade. There’s also a terminal here to save your progress. Once you’ve taken everything and saved, head back out and take the stairs on the left up to Bioweapon Repository 11.

Bioweapon Repository 11 and 12
On the right side of the repository, you’ll find a panel for the lift, but it requires an Override Key to activate. Before moving on, open the case on the center console to collect a Legendary Tracking Module, and right in front of it is a crate, which you can break to get Handgun Ammo.

Go through the left door into Bioweapon Repository 12. On the right side of this path, there’s a locked room you can’t enter from here, so you’ll need to access it from the lower level. Head down, where three Lickers are waiting. If you want to clear them quickly, the Requiem Revolver is the most efficient option here. However, if you don’t want to waste your Requiem ammo, you can even take them down with other weapons.

Once you reach the lower level, two more Lickers will come out seeking revenge, just like the previous ones; they are easy to take down as well. After you defeat them, search the pods and crates in this area for Green Herbs and Ammo, then head to the panel in the center of the lower room and activate it. Go through the door directly in front of it.

Two more Lickers are waiting in this room. Take them out, then check the corner on the right for Gunpowder (Large). Activate the panel in this room to unlock access to the upper area that was previously sealed.

After this, wind your way back through the main room to the stairs. You’ll find a crate (Machine gun ammo) next to a Green Herb. Climb the stairs into the Systems Management Room, where you’ll find the Override Key (Bioweapon Repository 11) on the right side of the room, along with a Med Injector and a Hand Grenade along the center terminals, and a crate that contains Machine Gun Ammo. On the left side of this area, open the case to get some Requiem ammo.

Activating the Lift
Head back to Bioweapon Repository 11. A group of Lickers will greet you on the way in. Clear them out, then use the Override Key on the panel. All the pods in the room will begin breaking open simultaneously, releasing a wave of zombies. Prepare for a chaotic fight and use whatever resources you have available to push through. Use the canisters in the area to deal AoE damage.

Once the room is clear, the lift will arrive. Step inside, and a short cutscene plays. Leon’s condition is now critical, permanently stuck in the exhausted state. Keep moving forward till you reach another cutscene.
Grace’s Revelation
The camera shifts to Grace, and a cutscene plays where she uncovers a profound truth about her past. Two files are automatically added to your collection at this point: Alyssa’s Interview Notes and Letter from Patrick.
After the cutscene, take the right path through the newly unlocked door and follow it to reach Leon. Another cutscene will play, and at the end of this long cutscene, you’ll be given a choice that determines which ending you receive.

The Two Endings
Release Elpis: The True Ending (Hope)
Choosing to input “Hope” and release Elpis leads to the game’s canon ending. Grace discovers that Elpis is not a bioweapon at all, and it was created by Oswell Spencer as an antiviral cure before his death. Before Grace can reveal this, Zeno injects himself with Elpis, stripping away his superhuman abilities.
Reverted to a normal human, he’s immediately killed by Victor Gideon. Grace then injects Leon with Elpis, curing him of the T-Virus and preparing him for the game’s final boss fight. After Victor is defeated, Leon and Grace are rescued by Chris Redfield’s BSAA agents.

Destroy Elpis: The Alternate Ending (Destruction)
Choosing to input “Destruction” and destroying Elpis means the true nature of the cure is never revealed. All data regarding Elpis is lost when the ARK facility’s self-destruct sequence is triggered. Zeno goes on a rampage after realizing what Grace has done, but Leon steps in, buying Grace enough time to escape. The game ends with Zeno killing Leon as the facility collapses.

Final Boss: Victor (Mutated): True Ending Only
Before heading into the final encounter, spend every credit you have on upgrades and stock up on everything available.
Phase One: Mutated Arm Form
Victor returns with a grotesque tentacle arm and his RPG-7. His attacks are fairly predictable, and every single one can be parried. Bringing out your gun immediately after a parry and landing shots on his head is the best way of taking him down easily.

Phase Two: Nemesis Form
Victor transforms into a Nemesis-like form — larger, faster, and relentless. His weak points are the red blobs scattered across his body; pop them as quickly as you can to drain his health. Every attack in this phase can still be parried, even the ones that look physically impossible to block. Once the last red blob is destroyed, Victor goes down, and the ending plays out.
