With Grace Ashcroft desperately trying to escape a terrifying presence, Leon has arrived at the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center in search of his own answers.
Resident Evil Requiem Care Center Arrival Walkthrough (Leon)
Arriving at the Care Center
The chapter opens with a cutscene of Leon entering the care center, where a nurse greets him and tells him that Dr. Gideon has been expecting him.
Follow the nurse through the building until she leads you to Dr. Gideon’s office. Your only task here is to investigate the care center, so stay close to her as she guides you through.
While you wait inside the office, a familiar announcement crackles over the speaker — Code Six, all staff initiate emergency protocols. The same warning Grace heard before.
The Infected Doctor
The nurse bursts back into the room and urges you to get out immediately, but it’s already too late. An infected doctor appears behind her wielding a chainsaw and kills her on the spot. Your task now is to eliminate the infected.
This fight requires patience. Focus on headshots and parry the infected’s attacks by pressing the Left Bumper at the right time using Leon’s hatchet.
Keep in mind that deflecting a chainsaw will break the hatchet. However, Leon also comes prepared with a whetstone. Hold the Left Bumper and press Square (X on Xbox) to repair it on the spot. Keep backpedaling away from the enemy while you do it.
Before you finish off the first infected, more will begin pouring in through the office. Keep moving backwards and land headshots whenever you can. If the chainsaw comes free, pick it up and use it against the remaining infected.
The Office Wing
From the doctor’s office, head left. You’ll find handgun ammo inside a wooden box along the way, but more infected nurses will come rushing out as soon as you get there. Take them down using your gun, the chainsaw, or melee attacks — whatever you have available.
Inside the room to the left of the first box, check another wooden box and the surrounding cabinets for additional ammo and healing items, including Mixed Herbs. Clear everything out before moving on.
Back into the Hall
Once the room is clear, you’ll need to get out — but the exit is locked with a sliding bar. Use the chainsaw to force it open.
Head through the door into the next hall. The area ahead is filled with furniture draped in sheets, with a staircase to the right.
Before heading up, look on top of the fireplace to find a dancing doll. This is one of Resident Evil Requiem’s 25 collectible Memorial Mr. Raccoons, hidden throughout the game in unexpected places. Destroy it with your hatchet to check it off your list. These count across all playthroughs, so don’t skip it.
The Second Floor
Go right and climb the stairs, then follow the aisle — first turning right after the stairs, then left into a lounge area with sofas. You’ll spot an open door ahead leading out to the second floor of the central hall.
Once you’re out, take a right and you’ll find Grace stumbling out from a large gate, calling out for help. Before Leon can reach her, the terrifying creature drags her back and slams her into the wall.
Leon manages to blast its head, buying them both a moment to breathe. While the two exchange words, the gates slam shut between them and they’re separated again. Leon passes the Requiem Revolver to Grace through the gate.
From here, you’ll switch back to Grace as she searches for a way out of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center.

Leon’s arrival at the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center ends with more questions than answers. The infected have overrun the building, Grace is separated and on her own, and the creature responsible for all of this is still lurking somewhere inside. With the Requiem Revolver now in Grace’s hands, you’ll be heading back into her story as she pushes deeper into the care center to find a way out.
