Reanimal Chapter 9 Walkthrough
The Tank Chase
Chapter 9 begins with the siblings getting into and driving a tank. This section is fairly straightforward, as there’s only one path to follow. Keep moving forward while taking out the machine gunners along the way.
One important thing to note is that you can earn the “Destruction Derby” trophy by crushing a total of 24 cars with the tank. As you drive, try to crush every car you see. There are more than enough cars available, so missing a few won’t be an issue.
Continue forward until you reach a large hole in the ground that blocks your path. Destroy the building on the left to create a way forward. Break through the collapsed buildings in your path, and remember to keep crushing cars as you go.
Eventually, you’ll burst into a theater building, demolishing everything in your way. At the end of the building, a giant sheep will emerge and begin chasing you. Drive out of the theater and through the alley. You don’t need to aim manually, as the tank will automatically target the pursuing sheep.
Focus on driving, crushing cars, and firing as you go. After a thrilling chase, the sheep will eventually catch up and grab your tank, this part is unavoidable. When that happens, manually shoot the sheep’s head three times to defeat it. You’ll then be dragged down along with the sheep.
The siblings will then get out of the tank. Unfortunately, the sheep rises again and swallows the boy, leaving you in control of the sister.
Inside the Sheep
Proceed along the only path forward and keep moving. You cannot stop at this section, or you’ll be killed. Quickly jump across gaps and over the cars as you go. After a while, a cutscene will trigger where the sheep swallows the girl as well, turning the screen blood red.
Continue moving forward through the belly until you reach a small barn. Enter it, then interact with the white rabbit on the floor, and another cutscene will play.
The Ending
You have reached the ending. The scene shows the boy dragging the girl toward a well to initiate some kind of offering. A group of sheep suddenly appears, surrounding them. The scene then shifts to a point of view from the bottom of the well, showing four boys watching as the girl falls into the abyss.
Ending 1
The ending shows the girl at the bottom of the well, appearing as a sacrificial lamb in a ritual meant to seemingly stop the unending war.
Secret Ending
However, if you collected all five coffins during your playthrough, a secret ending will play. After the credits, the five shadowy figures approach the girl and embrace her. This reveals that she is not the only sacrifice, and that this horrific ritual has been repeated many times before.
Completing the ending will earn you the “All is Well” and “Friends Reunited” trophies, along with the Platinum trophy “Nothing Lasts Forever.” If you’re missing anything, most collectibles can be grabbed via Chapter Select after finishing the game.
However, Coffins and Hidden Statues must be collected in a new playthrough, everything else carries over through Chapter Select.
