Talent Overview
Normal Attack
Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive spear strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform a spinning attack.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

As a sub DPS, Ineffa’s normal attacks are not a major source of damage
Elemental Skill
Ineffa engages her Enhanced Cleaning Module, dealing a single instance of AoE Electro DMG to nearby opponents, activating her Optical Flow Shield Barrier, and summoning the Multipurpose Smart Assistance Unit, Birgitta.
The Optical Flow Shield Barrier absorbs DMG based on Ineffa’s ATK, and it will absorb Electro DMG with 250% effectiveness.

Ineffa summons a shield and deploys Birgitta, who will periodically deal Electro damage. However, even though this talent’s multipliers work for both Birgitta and shield strength, it is not the main source of Ineffa’s damage and does not need to be leveled.
Elemental Burst
The Multipurpose Smart Assistance Unit, Birgitta, can use Rocket Punches to quickly clean up opponents! Ineffa shoots Birgitta into the fray, dealing AoE Electro DMG and allowing Birgitta to remain on the field.
If Birgitta is already on the field, having been summoned by Ineffa, this Skill will re-summon Birgitta at the target’s location and reset her duration.

This is a nice hit of damage. However, it is not Ineffa’s main source of damage and does not need to be leveled.
Ascension 1
If there are thunderclouds created by Lunar-Charged reactions nearby when Birgitta unleashes Discharge attacks, she will initiate an additional attack, dealing AoE Electro DMG equal to 65% of Ineffa’s ATK. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG.
This is Ineffa’s main source of damage. Since Lunar-Charged damage has an innate 3x multiplier, this is a very strong talent. However, it does require the Lunar-Charged reaction to occur for it to proc.
Ascension 4
When using the Elemental Burst Supreme Instruction: Cyclonic Exterminator, all your party members will gain the Parameter Permutation effect: Increases Ineffa and your own active party member’s Elemental Mastery by 6% of Ineffa’s ATK for 20s.
This is a decent supportive talent. When Ineffa casts her burst, she boosts the whole team’s EM; since Lunar-Charged damage scales partially off of EM, this will definitely be a nice upgrade. Assuming 2200 attack on Ineffa, this will give Ineffa and the active character 132 EM, which is certainly not a small amount.
Moonsign Passive
When a party member triggers the Electro-Charged reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Charged reaction, with every 100 ATK that Ineffa has increasing Lunar-Charged’s Base DMG by 0.7%, up to a maximum of 14%.
Additionally, when Ineffa is in the party, the party’s Moonsign will increase by 1 level.
Ineffa will convert Electro-Charged into Lunar-Charged. In contrast to Electro-Charged, Lunar-Charged will summon a thundercloud that will periodically strike enemies every 2.5s. Though this is low, Lunar-Charged reaction damage also scales off of attack, EM, and it can also CRIT, making it functionally much better than normal Electro-Charged.
Furthermore, Ineffa will also boost Lunar-Charged damage by 14% (you should have enough attack to max this out) and will add one Moonsign level to the party. Even though Ineffa herself doesn’t gain any Ascendant Gleam benefits, many of her teammates do appreciate the extra Moonsign she brings.
Talent Priority
Since practically all of her damage comes from her A1, her talents do not need to be leveled. However, you can choose to level her E for a stronger shield.
Constellations
Descriptions are condensed. Good constellations are given a ⭐.
| C1⭐ | Increases Lunar-Charged DMG proportional to her ATK up to 50% at 2500 ATK | A very good damage-boosting constellation. |
| C2⭐ | Upon bursting, deal a huge nuke of direct Lunar-Charged damage based on 300% of Ineffa’s ATK | This brings a good nuke to Ineffa’s burst1. However, it is possible for this nuke to miss. |
| C3 | Increase E by 3 levels | Since Ineffa doesn’t need her talents, this is pretty useless |
| C4 | Recover 5 energy every 4 seconds | This can be situationally good, as Ineffa’s C2 nuke requires bursting and this helps with her energy. However, better constellations exist |
| C5 | Increase Q by 3 levels | Since Ineffa doesn’t need her talents, this is pretty useless |
| C6⭐ | Do an extra hit of Lunar-Charged damage every time Lunar-Charged thunderclouds hit enemies. | This constellation is very similar to her A1 and is a massive damage upgrade. |
Combos
| EQ | Ineffa’s general combo while bursting. Ineffa deploys her shield before catching some particles and bursting. |
| QE | Can be used if her cooldowns are a bit out-of-order. However, that generally shouldn’t happen |
| E | Use this if you don’t have her burst |
Weapons
![]() Fractured Halo | Fractured Halo is Ineffa’s signature weapon. It provides a lot of CRIT DMG and some ATK% from the passive. Furthermore, the passive also increases the whole team’s Lunar-Charged damage by 40% after triggering a shield, which is something that perfectly synergizes with Ineffa’s kit. |
![]() Staff of Scarlet Sands | Staff of Scarlet Sands provides a lot of CRIT Rate. Additionally, it has an extremely strong EM to ATK conversion that is very useful for Ineffa |
![]() Bloodsoaked Ruins | Bloodsoaked Ruins is a very good weapon that has some Lunar-Charged DMG% Bonus, though Ineffa cannot take full advantage of the bonus. Additionally, it has an energy regeneration effect that is very appreciated. |
![]() Calamity Queller | Calamity Queller is a great weapon for Ineffa. It has a high base ATK and its effects provide a lot more of it. However, it provides no team damage buffs |
![]() Lumidouce Elegy2 | Cool stat stick |
![]() Deathmatch | Ineffa’s best 4* weapon option, providing great CRIT Rate and ATK. However, it is BP-exclusive. |
![]() Ballad of the Fjords | An alternative to Deathmatch, provided you have 3 elements (which you should in a good Lunar-Charged team) to activate its passive EM gain. However, it is BP-exclusive. |
![]() Sacrificer’s Staff | A good 4* weapon for Ineffa. It has a high base ATK and some CRIT Rate, and its passive gives some more ATK%. Furthermore, its passive helps with Ineffa’s energy generation |
![]() Prospector’s Shovel | A good F2P-friendly and craftable weapon for Ineffa. It’s passive provides a decent amount of Lunar-Charged DMG% Bonus, especially in Ascendant Gleam. |
Energy Recharge Requirement
In teams with low particle generation (especially Electro particles) and no Favonius weapons, Ineffa may need upwards of 200% ER. As such, it is generally advised not to build ER on Ineffa in those situations.
However, there may be exceptions. Generally, if you can survive with 8-10 substat rolls of ER on your Ineffa to burst every rotation, it is worth it. Furthermore, if you have C2, you can justify building more ER on her to burst every rotation as the C2 nuke is quite large.
Artifacts
Artifact Sets
![]() Aubade of Morningstar and Moon | Aubade is Ineffa’s general BiS in Ascendant Gleam teams, where is significantly pulls ahead of other sets. However, it does fall behind when Ineffa is the only Moonsign character. |
![]() Silken Moon’s Serenade | SMS is Ineffa’s best supportive set that provides a good amount of EM to the team. However, there are generally better users of the set on Ineffa’s teams, and she sacrifices a lot of personal damage. However, it does provide some ER to help with her requirements. |
![]() Gilded Dreams | Gilded Dreams is Ineffa’s best artifact set for her personal damage when Ineffa is the only Moonsign character in the team. |
![]() ![]() 2pc/2pc mixed sets | 2pc/2pc mixed sets perform relatively well on Ineffa. They are around 4 or 5 substat rolls behind 4pc Gilded Dreams. |

Teambuilding
Notable Teammates
Electro
Electro teammates can frequently take advantage of the Lunar-Charged reaction and its damage, making them good teammates for Ineffa. Furthermore, Electro teammates generate electro particles and allow for Electro resonance, letting Ineffa scoot away with lesser ER requirements
Flins | Flins is the premiere Lunar-Charged on-field DPS and synergizes perfectly with Ineffa. Ineffa’s shield and sub DPS is greatly appreciated in his teams. However, there be some situations where they may want to be split (most notably in Stygian Onslaught). |
Fischl | Fischl is another strong Electro sub DPS. However, while she does not deal direct Lunar-Charged DMG, her damage contribution is very strong. Furthermore, her Hexerei resonance gives EM to the whole team |
Clorinde | Clorinde (and essentially every other Electro DPS) can take advantage of Ineffa’s sub DPS and shielding in Lunar-Charged. Playing Lunar-Charged also allows them to be more flexible in building, as EM rolls aren’t wasted. |
Hydro
Hydro units are necessary to trigger the Lunar-Charged reaction and for Ineffa’s damage contribution to actually matter
Columbina | Columbina is a strong Hydro sub DPS and support with good application. Additionally, her kit also gives huge buffs to Lunar damage, making her an ideal teammate for Ineffa. She also gives Moonsign to activate Ascendant Gleam’s effects, and she can allow Ineffa to hold Aubade. |
Aino | Aino is a good F2P alternative to Columbina. While her supportive and sub DPS capabilities are much weaker, she still provides Moonsign and can allow Ineffa to hold Aubade. |
Neuvillette | Neuvillette is a strong Hydro DPS and a good driver in teams with Ineffa. Due to his versatility, Neuvillette/Ineffa teams can slot in many other supports |
Furina | Furina, while she does not buff Lunar DMG%, is a good option if Ineffa is played with a carry who scales off of DMG%. She also has very consistent off-field Hydro application. |
Other
Other characters can provide further buffs or synergize well with reactions between Hydro and Electro.
Sucrose | Sucrose is a great team for Ineffa. She can hold VV to shred Electro RES, and she can hold TTDS to buff the on-field carry’s ATK. Furthermore, she also has EM share and can activate other character’s Hexerei resonance. |
Xilonen | Xilonen has a lot of RES Shred in her kit. If playing with a DMG% carry, she can hold Scroll to provide more buffs. Furthermore, her healing also synergizes well if you use Furina. |
Kazuha | Kazuha does not have Sucrose’s EM share. However, he can buff DMG% carries a bit better, and he has much stronger grouping in multitarget scenarios. |
Durin | Durin has good RES Shred (especially with Hexerei resonance) and decent sub DPS. |
Arlecchino | Arlecchino (and other Pyro DPS characters) synergize well with Lunar-Charged teams due to the fact that they can take advantage of the Hydro and Electro aura on enemies to vaporize many of their hits. |
Example Teams
![]() Flins/Columbina/Sucrose/Ineffa Columbina EQ > Ineffa EQ > Sucrose E > Flins combo This team is Flins’s premium team. It is a strong team where Flins and Ineffa deal a lot of Lunar-Charged DMG and Columbina and Sucrose provide exceptionally potent supportive capabilities |
![]() Neuvillette/Columbina/Ineffa/Xilonen Neuvillette E > Columbina EQ > Ineffa EQ > Xilonen EN2 > Neuvillette combo A hybrid team that focuses both on regular DMG% and Lunar-Charged. In this team, Neuvillette serves both as a main DPS and a driver to apply more Hydro. |
![]() Neuvillette/Furina/Ineffa/Xilonen Neuvillette E > Furina EDQ > Ineffa EQ > Xilonen EN2Q > Neuvillette combo A team that is mostly focused on DMG% and not Lunar-Charged damage; however, since Ineffa is so strong, she can slot in seamlessly and still do well. |
![]() Arlecchino/Yelan/Columbina/Ineffa Arlecchino E > Columbina EQ > Yelan EQ > Ineffa EQ > Arlecchino combo A good overvape team where a significant amount of Lunar-Charged damage is dealt, and Arlecchino can vape a lot of her hits. |
![]() Fischl/Aino/Ineffa/Sucrose Fischl Q/E > Aino EQ > Ineffa EQ > Sucrose spam A great F2P-friendly team for Ineffa. Aino brings consistent Hydro application and moonsign to allow Ineffa to hold Aubade, and Sucrose and Fischl bring Hexerei resonance and other supportive/sub DPS capabilities. Sucrose can serve as a solid driver |
![]() Columbina/Ineffa/Flex/Flex Columbina and Ineffa (‘Bineffa”) is currently the game’s strongest wheelchair core. That is, pairing the two together along with your favorite two characters is guaranteed to do a lot of damage. This is a general team archetype for if you have both characters and still want to see some of your relatively unused mains succeed. |
![]() Furina/Ineffa/Flex/Flex Furina and Ineffa is another powerful wheelchair core. While it is not as strong as Bineffa (as Columbina buffs Ineffa’s damage a lot while Furina doesn’t, and Ineffa will be the most powerful character in a wheelchair team), it does allow for your wheelchaired carry to have a larger damage contribution percentage as Furina buffs DMG%. |
![]() Arlecchino/Bennett/Ineffa/Chevreuse Arlecchino E > Ineffa EQ > Chevreuse hEQ > Bennett EQ > Arlecchino combo Ineffa can theoretically be used as a sustain and off-field Electro application slot in Overload teams. However, this completely nullifies her powerful sub DPS capabilities and has a huge opportunity cost, so it is not recommended.4 She also can essentially only be used with Arlecchino, as Bennett would usually provide enough sustain.5 |
Footnotes
- From my personal testing, it does around 350k-400k damage
- Other 5* stat sticks, like Staff of Homa, Symphonist of Scents, etc. are in this category
- When using Staff of Scarlet Sands, EM becomes better due to the conversion
- However, it is very strong against enemies with innate Hydro aura (like the Hydro Tulpa).
- The only other situation would be Yoimiya, who needs a crap ton of interruption resistance so she can execute her whole normal attack string.
