After returning to Old Lumière, the goal is to defeat the two Axons, Sirène and Visages. Even though both are visible, explore the Northern Continent first to gather upgrades and resources.
You start on a beach north of Old Lumière’s crater, and the Paintress is now much closer, showing you are near the endgame. Even though the objective is clear, this area has a lot of useful loot.
Bring Monoco into your party, as fighting different enemies lets him unlock new abilities.
First, swim west to a small island with trees and defeat the enemies to get Crulleram and Chation.
Then head north to an island with red trees. Clear the enemies on the right, then go left up the slope to find two Mimes. Use Break to defeat them and get the Voluminous Haircut for Lune and Sciel. Behind them, there is a Lost Gestral you can send back to camp.
Ignore the nearby Visages island and continue north. You will find an island with a portal and a merchant that cannot be accessed yet.
Move to the next beach on the right to collect Journal Expedition 40 and find a merchant selling the Verso Outfit – Pure and Lune Haircut – Double Braid. Continue north until a cutscene plays.
Western Beaches
After the cutscene, go back toward the unreachable island and swim west to another beach. Defeat the enemies to get Pictos – Energising Pain and Monoco’s Ballaro weapon. Destroy the nearby Paint Spike to obtain Pictos – Critical Break.
Follow the western wall to the next beach and defeat enemies to get Battlum and Colim for Lune, and Troubadim. Continue south and ignore the portal to The Crows.
On the next beach, you will encounter the field boss Chromatic Moissonneuse. This boss is weak to Dark and Fire, and it is important to learn its attack patterns by focusing on dodging before attempting to parry.
Defeating it rewards Sciel Weapon – Moisson (Lv 17), Resplendent Chroma Catalyst x2, and Colour of Lumina x5. After the fight, collect Chroma x3,885 from the small camp behind its location.
Southern Beaches
Continue swimming south along the western wall until you pass through a narrow waterway that leads to a larger area with two beaches. On the west beach, defeat the enemies to obtain Pictos – Critical Vulnerability.
On the east beach, defeat enemies and collect Chroma x2,285 from the camp, then speak with the merchant Papasso, who sells:
- Maelle Haircut – Messy Bun
- Lune Haircut – Messy Bun
- Sciel Haircut – Short
- Verso Haircut – Gustave’s Haircut
After finishing here, head southeast through a narrow passage and break the coral wall to unlock access to the central part of the continent.
Eastern Beaches
Move east past the Boat Graveyard and reach a glacier island that cannot be accessed yet.
From there, head north to a dead-end island and defeat the field boss Chromatic Cultist Reaper, which rewards Verso Weapon – Blodam, Resplendent Chroma Catalyst x2, and Colour of Lumina x5. Behind it, collect Journal – Expedition 43.
Return to the water and move northeast through a narrow path until you reach an intersection. On the first beach, defeat enemies to obtain Lune Weapon – Saperim (Lv 14), Monoco Weapon – Ballaro (Lv 14), and Maelle Weapon – Stalum (Lv 14), and you will also find a Lost Gestral nearby.
At this stage, it is recommended to return to camp and spend your attribute and skill points, especially for Monoco.
Go back to the intersection and continue north to a small beach where you can collect Colour of Lumina x1, then proceed to a larger open area. On the left side, collect Chroma x2,715.
From there, move east through the corals to a small rocky island where a camp contains Chroma x3,885, and a merchant named Rederi sells Sciel Haircut – Rebellious, Lune Haircut – Half Ponytail, and Record – Robe de Jour.
North of this region is Sirene, one of the Axon locations. To the east of Sirene, you will find a beach with a portal leading to Gestral Beach IV.
On this same beach, go east and defeat enemies guarding a Paint Spike to obtain Weapon – Gaulteram (Lv 10), then destroy the spike to collect Chroma x2,285.
Continue further east to an island with red trees and defeat the enemies to obtain Lune Weapon – Troubadim (Lv 14) and Pictos – Confident (Lv 14). There is also a portal to Sinister Cave here, which can be skipped for now.
Near Sirene, visit a small island with crates to collect Chroma x4,515. After completing the exploration, head southwest toward the Visages island.
Preparing for Visages
Before entering, return to camp and prepare your team. Talk to Sciel to raise her relationship level to 3 and Lune to level 4. Speak with Sastro to receive Verso Haircut – Gestral and Colour of Lumina x3.
Upgrade your attributes and skills, then rest. Once ready, proceed to Visages and continue the main objective.
